Geek Humor

January 6, 2009 at 5:15 pm (Excel, Funny)

For some it will come as no surprise that, being an Excel geek and programmer, I go trolling Excel websites to pick up helpful little tidbits of code and tips to make my work life easier.

One of the websites I hit on a regular basis is Dick Kusleika’s Daily Dose of Excel blog. It seems to be THE gathering point for all the big Excel names in the business.  It’s got a lot of great stuff on it that makes life easier. But once in a while, you find something that (if you’re a geek like me) makes you laugh.

The one I found today was in a discuss about variable notation, RBVA versus Hungarian (look them up!), etc. And at the tail end of this length roll of comments, Jon Peltier chimed in with:

Dim oCanada As Anthem

If you’re a geek, it’s funny.

If not, well, your loss…
